Shark Tooth Fossils in Matrix

These fossils are 50 million years old and set in a sandstone matrix. Sharks are an elasmobranch fish with five to seven fills and pectoral fins. The earliest known shark dates back to 420 million years ago, and since then have diversified into over 500 species. Sharks are most common in depths up to 6,600 feet and are found in both seawater and freshwater.

These fossils come in packs of 10. Each tooth is approximately 1.5 inches, and the sandstone matrix measures 3 inches across.
