Goniatite Fossil

These fossils are all freestanding and polished. Goniatites were ammonoid cephalopods derived from Agoniatitida roughly 390 million years ago. They became extinct at the end of the Permian period. Now as fossils, they most commonly occur in subtropical or tropical areas.
